Event Overview
On September 25, 2024, the Santana Care Foundation (SCF), in collaboration with the Pharmaceutical Society of Nigeria (PSN), successfully launched a free medical outreach initiative and distributed educational materials to 100 orphans and vulnerable children in the Deba Community.

Ceremonial Opening
The event commenced with a visit to the Emir of Yamaltu Deba at his palace, where the PSN and SCF teams paid their respects. During this visit, the PSN honored the legacy of the late Alh. Mohammad Hassan Santana, the first pharmacist from Gombe, with an award received by Alh. Hassan Mohammed Hassan on behalf of the family. The Emir expressed heartfelt gratitude for the initiative, emphasizing the positive impact it would have on the Deba Community, and offered prayers for the departed.

Medical Outreach and Educational Support
Following the ceremonial proceedings, the teams proceeded with the medical outreach, providing essential health services to community members. Additionally, 100 educational packages were distributed, which included:
- School uniforms from five different community schools
- School bags
- Pencils, rulers, and sharpeners
- School sandals and socks
This initiative aims to enhance the educational experience and foster a conducive learning environment for the children.

Encouragement for Future Leaders
Alh. Hassan Mohammed Hassan encouraged the beneficiaries to dedicate themselves to their studies, reminding them that they are the leaders of tomorrow.
